The first decision that parents who want to get a car for their teen with a fresh driving license should make is whether the best solution is to pass the teen driver the old family car or to get a cheap car that has not been previously owned by the family. • Reliability – read online reviews to check how reliable a specific car model is and choose the one that you consider the easiest to maintain.
