Before going any further, it’s important to note that the maximum tire pressure is not always the best. To avoid all that, the best choice is to adjust the tires somewhere around 25 to 28 PSI. You’ll find the ideal value on a sticker in the door jam for most cars. Depending on the manufacturer, of course, that value can alter a great deal, and you’ll find it’s not always the best for your car, especially depending on other conditions such as temperature, air pressure and humidity.
